Orders on militia rolls for Shays' Rebellion, 1787-1792.

Series consists of orders submitted for pay, some of which were paid per Resolves 1786, Apr Sess, c 41 (May 2, 1787), which allowed tax collectors and sheriffs to fulfill orders on the Treasury with monies received for taxes, and to forward them to the Treasury in lieu of tax payments.
